HOT!, YEET!, PANAS!

35 degrees mate! PANAS!
Those were the three words of the same meaning that I have been hearing from Mrs Wong for the past few days. The temperature in this country is at a fuming 35 degrees!!!

We dont usually set it at this temperature

Icy cool drinks takes the heat away but NOT TOO MUCH
Mrs Wong has been feeling the HEAT big time. Every other minute she is complaining that its hot. This led to her having some serious mood swings. At one point I had to walk out to the balcony, have a ciggie to calm myself down before I say something stupid.
Believe me this thing can do wonders!

Turn on the fan with the A/C
Im sorry Mrs Wong, I shouldn’t even had thought about being angry with you. My fault for not fully understanding that pregnant women’s body temperature is higher than normal to ensure that the precious one is safe and warm.
Thank GOD for A/C

Normally Mommy will come to the pool but because of the heat, Daddy had to settle with uncle Christopher

Stuff to ALWAYS bring to the Pool

It was an AWESOME day for tanning....

So here are the few things that we tried to overcome this.
  1.  Drink lots of water (not too much coz Mrs Wong keeps going to the toilet and being pregnant, to get up and go to the toilet is a BIG DEAL, trust me, it aint easy when its like 3am)
  2. Air-condition + Fan (I would like to personally thank the guy who discovered electricity, without him the re will be no existence of A/C or the fan, and things could have gotten pretty ugly)
  3. Ice Pack (comes in handy when placed behind the neck)
  4. Ice Water (Not too much cold stuff but once in a while is ok)
  5. Patience (Be patient with the pregnant lady and do whatever you can to ensure that she is comfortable. A happy mommy makes a happy child, makes a happy daddy  = 1 HAPPY FAMILY)

Your MOMMA sooooo HAWT!
To Mrs Wong & Jr Wong– I love you both and im sorry I almost burst at you the other day. I will do anything possible to ensure that you do not feel the heat and smile always.
SO HAWT it BURNS!

HOT Daddy!

Too Many words!

Havent done something like this in a while...

Here's the thing, we are suppose to write down what we fear most about pregnancy and life after birth. Honestly, there is only one thing that I am afraid of, but im getting better at handling that fear. Should be ok, I hope.

I was taking down notes in class...

Seriously...

Here's the thing, we are suppose to write down what we fear most about pregnancy and life after birth. Honestly, there is only one thing that I am afraid of, but im getting better at handling that fear. Should be ok, I hope.

Well I gotta finish my homework now, we'll see if we want to share the concerns on the blog or not.

Behold....Our Handsome Prince!

SNEAK PEEK of my PRINCE!
The Handsome Prince
So it was time for the usual check up at Women Specialist in Bangsar with Dr Kamaljit. As usual, the anticipation to see our SON is just…..ah I cant even explain it!

This time round, Mrs Wong weight was on track, 70kg’s and Doctor gave her 2 thumbs up for the good job! The last 2 visits were WARNINGS for Mrs Wong to watch her weight….guess is the sweet tooth in my sweet wife!
The Excited Father....
Mrs Wong had a bit of itch at the birth area so after a few checks, Dr Kamaljit said that she must stay away from sugar stuff. Sugar is NOT GOOD FOR PREGNANT WOMEN!
The breakfast...
Then we finally had a glimpse of our prince….in 3D! he is SOOOOOOOOOOOO Handsome and Chubby! So cute, I LOVE IT! This….is our SON! We cant wait to see you Boy!
The Beautiful Mrs Wong!
I have been practicing phrases like “Boy!”, “Come Here”, “Go kiss mommy” and stuff like that with my make shift baby replica….its kinda weird but hey, its called preparations man!

Daddy - EXCITED!

-HYPNOBIRTHING-

On the Way to the CLASS!
WHAT IS HYPNOBIRTHING?
HypnoBirthing
Teaches deep levels of relaxation to eliminate the Fear-Tension-Pain Syndrome before, during and after birthing.
Greatly reduces and often eliminates the need for chemical painkillers or drugs.
Shortens the first phase of labor.
Eliminates fatigue during labor, leaving mother alert, fresh, awake, and with energy for actual birthing.
Eliminates risk or hyperventilation from “shallow” breathing methods, and helps keep oxygen supplied to baby during birthing.
Reduces the need for an episiotomy.
Teaches breathing techniques that allow a woman to gently breathe her baby into the world without the violence of hard, physical pushing.
Empowers parents with techniques to achieve a gentle, calm birth for themselves and their baby.
Embraces the concept of pre-birth parenting.
Gives the birthing companion an integral role in the birthing.
Promotes special bonding of mother, baby, and birthing companion.
                Fosters more rapid postnatal recovery.
Returns birthing to the beautiful, peaceful experience nature intended.

Yah...To Day Special...
The biggest fear for me as a man, is to watch my wife screaming in pain and not being able to do anything to help her but be there and give her my hand. The thought of that really kills me, really really kills me

Momma's NEW CRAZE!
How can you watch someone you love so much in so much pain? How can you let someone you love so much suffer pain? I do fathers do it, how do they get through with watching the love of our lives suffer in pain? The thought of it just kills me, and that is what I fear most in life, not being able to give the best care to my lovely wife.
Some shots of Solaris....nice place!
So I went around asking newly crowned fathers of ways we can lower the pain for the ones we love during that moment. Then someone mentioned to me HYPNOBIRTHING. Now that sounded awesome coz it is exactly what it is, Hypnotizing yourself during “Birthing”. This I gotta know and MUST go for.
A nice Japanese restaurant we went to makan with uncle deric after the class
So Mrs Wong did some research and found this lady, Patricia, I cant remember if she was from US or Australia but she knows her stuff. We enrolled in a Saturday morning class which began in May, not such a great idea but hey, have to do it for the sake of my wife and son. That just sounded AWESOME, My Wife and Son! Akakakakak
At the class!
We had Uncle Deric & Aunt LJ with us in the class and also this French dude who is in the class to benefit himself in the work that he does. Don’t ask me to mention his occupation coz I can hardly pronounce it.
MOMMA and her FAV Lunch!
The class to me is something that I do to myself all the time. Lying. Its all about mind over matter, telling yourself that your body knows what to do, we don’t need to scream or shout in pain coz that’s not cool. This class makes you understand what is going on in your body in time of birthing. Teaches you how to relax, take your mind away from the pain and concentrate on how to work with your body during birthing
The scene of the FUTURE....
It also teaches the men what to do, what to say, how to react and how to get involved in the whole birthing process. It has helped me understand what I should do rather than just give her my hand and shout PUSH! There is a whole lotta stuff that we, men can do in time of birthing. From hypnosis techniques, to gentle massages and words to use during the time of birthing are taught in these classes.
Uncle Deric is DAMN 9 Cool....and so is your DAD laaa
Honestly I feel so much better after the classes. I feel so much more geared up for the big moment. I really hope this class helps my beautiful Mrs Wong prepare herself for what she is to encounter. I hope that Mrs Wong will be ready and will have no fear of the most beautiful moment in life, birth!
Yes we got up early to make it for class....
I would urge any would be parents to go for these classes. It really helps in some way. Takes away all the “Giving birth hurts like shit and is FRIGGIN Painful” thoughts. It also prepares us not to be afraid of natural birth, a birth without drugs or operations.
Patricia....noice !
I think is damn important that we give birth the natural way. My grandma did it with all 14 of her children back then, why are we so weak now? It’s a god damn scam the hospitals create to make $ of you. Birth and death are the 2 most lucrative business to get into. It plays with emotions so there is never a price tag for these things, we just pay for the best.
The con job babyfair we went to after the class

The Lovely Aunt LJ and.....Uncle Deric

Momma's fav hobby...shopping for you!

I cant wait to see you like this!

This is a MUST HAVE!

Just look at the excitement on your momma's face!

What a nice batch....

Get this book...Its RAWKIN....
Did you know that we are given 12 hours of birthing time in hospitals? Why? Which idiot came out with these rules? And if the birthing doctor has a golf appointment in the next 2 hours, he would probably say, the baby is under stress, need to cut open and take em out. NO WAY. Well, after these classes, we know our rights, we know what to do and when to actually check in for birthing. So yeah, friggin thank god for the ppl who created these classes.
Ahhhh, breakfast before the class to please the prince.

Daddy – Hypnotized!
