LIN CHOR SEI - Back to Bang Cock!

THE MAN WHO LOVES HIS WIFE TOOOOOO MUCH
Every year we travel up to Bangkok to see Gong Gong and Poh Poh, your mother’s parents, my in-laws. Gong Gong and Poh Poh now lives in Bangkok with your “Kau Fu” and “Kau Mou” together with your 2 cousins.

MY WIFE'S HAPPY FAMILY IN BANG COCK

The Kind Hearted sister-in-law...

Ah there she is, the hot mama...Ah Bluse ar, yow mei yow lian jing?
The woman who demonstrates that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach....
The Sister-in-law who has curing hands...
And then....there is my princess....
Basically the whole of Mrs Wong’s family now resides in Bangkok and it is a yearly affair that we go back and visit during Chinese New Year. This time round, your “Mama” and “Tai Ma” decided to tag along as they haven’t seen your Gong Gong and Poh Poh for a long time.
My Father-in-law....man of a few words but filled with love for all his precious little princesses.
The American one....un-predictable.....

Dad....always making sure that im comfy and that i had enuff to eat....
And there she is again....the naughty one....
Ok, this is your cousin whom i used to dislike coz he was super rude. Im really glad that they turn out to be quite good and well mannered kids...

Mrs Wong IS REALLY PREGNANT!
Mommy's other man.....
Aunt Wen Hsiao is a very nice lady.....until she loses her temper and behaves like a 3 year old. I am  until today, shocked at what i saw last CNY....it was like she was possessed or something
Usually the eve and the first day of CNY is spent at our house, the second day is a must must lunch with Uncle Teong then we head off to Bangkok either on the 3rd or 4th day. This year I chose the 4th day coz I wanted to spend some time gambling and visiting here before we disappear from Malaysia for 5 days.
Your 2 cousins...
I find this altar table to be very nice. So grand!

Your mother is making me take pictures of her over and over and over again just to check out her bump...
This one i secretly took....yes i was perving on Mrs Wong!
In the outskirts of town where we stayed, a van could easily pick up 100 ppl at a time

this must be mum asking Mrs Wong the 3 questions of life:
1. Have you been praying?
2. Have you been drinking boiled water?
3. Have you gone to see Lai Sifu?

Awwwww...they must miss the 2 of u soooooo much

The Adorable mother

Another “Kau Mou” who resides in Miami, Florida, USA comes back here yearly during this period and travels to Bangkok with us together. Its like a big family reunion coz Mrs Wong’s side of the family are everywhere from Australia to Bangkok to Taiwan to USA.

Its always great to see Gong Gong and Poh Poh. Poh Poh cooks only the best dishes for us when we are there. Even she guessed that you were a boy by just looking at the shape of your mommy’s tummy.

Jr is the TRUE "Siu Pa Wong!"

As most chinese families believe that once the beautiful wife has conceived, NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING can be renovated, moved or taken apart in the house as the "Toi Sun" (God of Babies) is chillin in the room all the time just checking out the scenes.

Our bed was broken a week before we found that we were pregnant with a lil prince. We actually planned to purchase a new one but the news of the new Prince came faster so we had NO CHOICE but not to change the bed....at all....period.
Yes, I have been sleeping on the floors for 4 months now,,,

For the past 17 weeks, we have been sleeping apart, me on the floor and Mrs Wong on the bed. im not complaining but maybe Jr wants mommy all for himself and is telling daddy to get in line! akakakakkakaka. I just find this REALLY amusing!

We have recently given a nickname for Jr. its "Siu Pa Wong" translated into english it means "Small Demanding King". What a perfect name for my son, who decides that he has mommy ALL to himself on the bed and daddy, down on the floor and get in line! akakakakakakkak

Well, i guess this is the challenge Seng Kung has given us for this baby and so we must try our very best to persevere the sufferings....but you know what, We have spoken to the higher powers and there is a loop hole for this pantang....

Stay tuned la to find out how it works!

Too much rompin laaaa!

DADDY - Left Out!

ITS A BOY!!!

And here is the video of OUR SON!

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! Welcome the WHABBIT! - Lin Sa Ah Man

Chinese New Year, a time when families get together to celebrate a new beginning in the journey of life. This year is the year of the RABBIT, the year of my SON! We have just confirmed the sex of Jr, it’s a BOY and what a distinctive boy he is!

Preparing deco for the home is a MUST. Its a tradition that we have always practice so boy, make sure u take the lead in the future to have this organized for Chinese New Year

Well, Chinese New Year to me, basically means holiday, gambling, family and friends. It’s the best time of the year coz this is the time when you can gamble freely, play with fire-crackers, pig out on Grandma’s specials!, be spoiled by your in-laws and more importantly, NO NEED TO GO TO WORK!

Cleaning of the altar. Something that is done by all the boys in the family however, this year, both Nic & Chris were advised not to participate as they "Farn Tai Sui".

I took 2 weeks off work to concentrate solely on my wife giving her ALL the attention she needs and I must say, it was the bestest 2 weeks yet coz this time, we have Jr with us!

Classic, Mrs Wong plucking chicken feathers!

It was just food galore during the eve and the first day of CNY. Grandma was cooking NON-STOP at the age of 93!! Grandma’s cooking I must say is the shit. I hope Grandma will still be around when Jr is old enuff to taste her cooking. Looking at her, im pretty sure that jr might just be lucky enuff to enjoy it!

Of course we managed to steal some time off to get some tan on this lovely day!

One day, I will be teaching my son how to swim in this pool

So this is the usual drill for CNY, Jr, make sure you REMEMBER the drill so that the tradition lives on.

Managed to get a last minute haircut before the new year so i look fresh and bright

I find this very therapeutic.....jr might be a Botak too...

Lin Sa Ah Man (Eve of CNY )

Usually the cooking is done in our house with the head chef GrandMaster of All Masters Grandma and supported by Grand Deep Fried Uncle Nicholas. Mummy, Aunt Luxanne and the rest are in charge of cutting the ingredients.

This aint even half of whats coming!

Best thing we ever did, ordered 2 SUCKING PIGS from uncle Colins place...

And dinner is ALMOST ready!

NOICE!

Your father me, who is the eldest of the family (Boys segment) is in-charge of the overall operations. I usually tell ppl what they are supposed to do and make sufficient noise for people to notice me…..basically I do NOTHING!.

Grand Master Chef of the Highest order! Poh Poh!

The one from Singapore....aunty Mandy!

The Long lost cousin...Aunty Joni !

The pot swindler...Aunty Rose....

We usually will have a dinner fit for a king. Grandma will cook anything that has a back facing the sun and the food just keeps coming and coming and coming.

SOOOOOO MANY Tunku....Grandma really wanted to ensure that Jr is a Boy...Tunku Tunku, Ku ku, Ku ku

What did i tell you, As the eldest you do not have to do anything...so Jr U R DAMN 9 lucky!

Standing by for the JAI

After dinner, we proceed to cook grandma’s famous vegetarian thingy, the “JAI” I really hope that grandma will still be around when you can taste solid food so that you can taste the bestest “JAI” in the worlds!

The child expert for the obvious reasons...Aunt Jini...WE RESPECTA U!

Its been too many years and we are still trying to master the art of Poh Poh's Jai..at Sharp 12am, we begin the vegetarian diet to welcome the new year. Coincidentally, Mrs Wong and I have made a promise to be vegetarian twice in a lunar month on the 1st and on the 15th day.
But of course.....the hottest momma on the block...
this is because we made a little side bet with god that if we practice this ritual, please keep us away from disease and mishaps. Well this is Lin Sa Ah Man....the night when family's get together and have a great meal!

Gong Xi Fa Jai!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Kuala Lumpur!

Uncle Colin & Daddy by the pool......FACEBOOK WHORING!
Today is Kuala Lumpur’s birthday. Pretty soon you will be born in this city, and I want you to know what your parents were doing on this day when you were busy kicking and growing in mommy’s tummy.

Doing what i do best.....ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

And a bit of YOGA, the doctor said its good for my migraine!!

Me and Uncle Colin....kinda gay but who cares....
Fortunately it was a bright sunny day. The past 2 days have been raining non stop and the mood on everyone’s face was like”Whass the Hells”. Uncle Colin called at about 9 and said LETS GO, it’s a great day to be at the pool!

Trying to save my ass from getting another migraine

BFF's by the pool

Now thats what i call..."TAIWANESE"!
It was an opportunity too good to be missed, I haven’t got a tan for a long time and mommy has been wanting to go for the looooooongest time. So I lightly woke mrs Wong up and told her that colin was on the way and if she wants to go with us to the pool.

Not Bad this effect

This one oso jalan

Out at Kota Damansara for the best FISH HEAD noodles it seems..
Mrs Wong opened her eyes for a good 10 seconds lightly and said that JR needs a bit more rest before heading there so asked us to go ahead first.
Then it was prayer time. It is believed that for different years, different animal signs on the Chinese Zodiac will offend this guy called 'Thai Sui ' It seems that this year no good for the rabbit and chicken.....but not to worry...we will sort it out

Typical Malaysian timing....1 hour LATE!
Some people say that pregnant mothers should get a bit of sun to avoid their newborns to be contracted to the disease. Not too sure how true that is but Mrs Wong loves the sun anyways.
This is what we call Low Sang...usually we have this before CNY

yeah, we were supposed to make a mess!

Aunty Fi and Mommy
Night time we had an annual CNY dinner with ALL of your uncles and aunties…Uncles Deric, Faiz, Kenneth, U-Ming, Mark and Aunties Fiona, Kylie and LJ were there.
Piglets are cute boy/girls....they taste GREAT but hoofed much better

Even at the restaurant i was perving on Keith the guy who drives the beemer right..

The CHINAMAN Rules and Regulations of Being PREGNANT

Maitreya Buddha - The Bestower of Children

I know I missed out on some of the kejillion rules and regulations of the “CINAPEK” beliefs on pregnancy but hey, take a look at what we have to do to ensure a CHINESE baby is born right….youre gonna love this

1.    A husband should carry his wife over a pan of burning coal when entering his home for the first time to ensure she will pass through labor successfully – Ok I didn’t get this done but hey, I did carry her up a flight of stairs under the hot hot sun!
2.    Everything a pregnant woman see’s or does will influence her unborn child – So I guess the more I show my willie to my wife the more chances Jr will be a boy innit.
3.    Sex is forbidden during pregnancy – Are you kidding me? These Chinese people are just so conservative! Just because they are not exposed to pregnant porn doesn’t mean that it is wrong to DO IT!
4.    if a pregnant woman eats food that's not properly cut or mashed, her child will have a careless disposition – This ones easy, Mommy just has to chew her food, the kwai lo’s will say to ease digestion, chew your food akakkakak
5.    If she eats light colored foods, the baby will be fair-skinned – Explain the black people!
6.    No construction work should be done in the house of a pregnant women. Hammering and sawing could lead to an abortion or fetal deformities – Ok this one I totally believe coz the Chinese in me believes that the house is where the baby is made, so just don’t mess with it.
7.    Pregnant women should never attend funerals – Yeah, the Chinese in me believes that there are dirty spirits at funerals, no good for the baby.
8.    To scare away evil sprits, Chinese women may sleep with knives under their bed – I have a PARANG under the bed plus my airgun.
9.    Many believe it is unlucky to throw a shower for an unborn baby – I don’t get baby showers anyways
10. Once the baby is born they will often pray to the goddess who helped them conceive with an offering of sweet meats and incense – This is a confirm. No doubts about it.
11. The Chinese believe that each person is made up of some of the five elements - metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. If a fortune teller finds a child is lacking an important element, the missing element is incorporated in her name -- unless the missing element is fire or water – Now this is NEW! I didn’t know our names were chosen like that…..isnt it COOL!
12. The Chinese wouldn't dream of naming a baby before she's born. In fact, they are given false names, or milk names, to scare away evil spirits – Eh, we have the PARANG under the bed plus so many gods in the house, plus a fierce looking dad, plus the protection of the god that gave us the child….harlo, any Tom, Dick $ Harry spirit oso lari la
13. If you strike an animal during pregnancy, the newborn child will look like that animal and behave like one. – that’s why I stopped fishing la
14. To announce the baby's birth, a new father sends money and wine to his in-laws. Special ribbons fastened to the wine jar signify if the baby is a boy or a girl. Parents send red eggs to close family and friends -- an even number for a girl, odd for a boy. Or they may send out boxes of fruit. Return gifts might include two kinds of cake, brown sugar, millet, eggs, and walnut meats. – A bit too much work….a phone call nowadays will do the trick, or even skype!
15. Chinese mothers may fill a baby's pillow with rice or beans to give the baby's head a proper shape – I might just go for this one!
16. To encourage a strong step, Chinese mothers once bound their child's ankles loosely with a wide ribbon to keep the feet in an upright positions – I wonder if Nike has this.
17. Tigers are consider the protector against demons, many Chinese boys will have embroidered tigers on their shoes – I’ll get Jr Tattooed..
