My Son, Day 7 - 18th July

This is MY FAVORITE picture of Jr... LOOKIN AWESOME!
On this day, we were scheduled to go back to the hospital for a check-up on Jr with the Pediatrician on his jaundice and eye infection. The check-up was scheduled at 10am but both mommy and daddy had hardly slept.
Daddy's lil rascal!

Especially your superwoman mommy. She wakes up 2 hours on the dot just to wait for your cry and feed you. Your crazy daddy just didnt sleep, awaiting your cry just so that he can hold u and carry you to mommy for feeding, then wash your ass!

The KING is asleep....shhhhhh
So with less than 3 hours sleep the past 2 nights, and dead tired, we still made it on time to see Dr Yeu, the soft spoken pediatrician. Daddy and Mommy's fingers were crossed while waiting for your result to come out on the whole jaundice thing........and then.....
Yup stripping you down to get an ass wash!
The doctor came out and told us that the jaundice have suddenly shot up by 50 points! It was pretty alarming so he advised us to check you in to the "Sun-Bathing" zone immediately. At this point of time, both mommy and daddy were actually panicking and REALLY WORRIED.
We love it when you are sleeping, HONESTLY
Mommy and Daddy made the decision that we will stay in the hospital with you at all cost as we dont want you to feel all alone again. This was very difficult for us as we felt that you have just slowly adjusted to the home environment but now you have to be sent back to the hospital for that torturous sun bathing regime.
Mister Charming melting both our hearts
This was painful for the 2 of us but it was what is necessary for you so we had to do it. Mommy was having a bit of an emotional breakdown at that moment. We've grown so attached to you that even staying one floor below the nursery felt like a thousand miles. Me and Mommy would go to the nursery every 2 hours to ensure that you get your feed and to see you and hold you.

Mommy looks at you like this EVERY NIGHT

The apple of our eye....YOU la!
Luckily your jaundice went down. you were discharged the very next day and Mommy was just tooooooo happy!
Whatcha lookin at!

On tha way to the doc in the morning, Mommy never forgets to feed you!

3.66kg, you were born 3.59kg...

The changing mat that came with the BUGABOO bag came in handy when you had to take your nap at the clinic while waiting
Dr Yeu.....a VERY soft-spoken Pediatrician. Very gentle guy and knows his stuff...
